Phoetry Final

A Book

There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

Aperture Priority Exercise!

PROGRAM MODE: I Like using program mode for the inside photos because i didn't have to change anything for the setting to make the photo look good. I also liked using the program mode when i took a picture of the teapot in the night conditions, because the flash automatically popped up. I like how program mode uses a shallow depth of field when i am really close on an object, like for example the sun.

Program Mode - Bright Daylight Conditions

Program Mode - Night Conditions

Program Mode - Indoors with Lights on

Program Mode - Outdoors with subject close to camera and the horizon in distance
SHALLOW D.O.F: This is my favorite mode. It lets the audience know what you want them to focus on. When i took the picture of the teapot in night mode, i couldn't really distinguish between a really large aperture and small aperture in the actual photo. I can really tell that it has a shallow depth of field in the pictures of the tiki mask and the sun.

2.00 Aperture - Indoors with Lights on
2.00 Aperture - Night Conditions

2.00 Aperture - Outdoors with subject close to camera and horizon in the distance
2.00 Aperture - Bright Daylight Conditions

GREAT D.O.F: I had great difficulty taking pictures of the tiki mask because the flash would keep coming on, once i took the flash off, the shutter speed was huge! It was really hard to get a clear picture. I think that the large depth of field is quite boring in the photo itself, it doesn't draw any attention to anything in particular.

8.00 Aperture - Indoor with Lights On

8.00 Aperture - Outdoors with subject up close and horizon in the distance

Photogram Reflection

1. The specific task i did to make the photograms a success was make multiple posters and place them around the school. Also, I helped create the deals on multiple photos and getting discounts.
2. I felt what was most successful was having the photograms in the library, because a lot of people go in there during lunch. I also thought that the announcement during 4th period on the loudspeaker got a lot of people to hear about us, and come and get their pictures taken.
3. I think if we could of had more time to get people to know about the photograms for valentines day before-hand. Maybe making a hundred flyers and handing them out during class. The flyers could have the sign up stuff, so all they would have to do, would be bring the flyer and money to get their photos taken.
4. I think another photogram fundraiser could be themed spring break, or spring fever. people like to get ready for the summer, and a nice picture of their friends from school would be a nice memory thing.
5. i would like to improve on dragging items from a separate photo onto a different photo, meaning, really understanding the size of the image in relation to the photo i am dragging it onto.
